Eric Duckworth founded Coliseum Construction, LLC in 2005. He started the business in Center City Philadelphia as a residential remodeling company. In 2012, he focused resources into the development of the Commercial Carpentry Division. He is actively involved with all phases of the business. Over the years Eric has been an active member of community events and trade organizations. He is a member of the ABCares Committee and has captained their MUD Run team for the past two years. He is an active member of NARI, and has proudly won awards for projects in 2013 and 2014. He volunteers his time throughout the year for projects like Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Emanuel Dining Hall in Wilmington, DE.
As the Office and HR Manager of Coliseum, Kate is responsible for handling the fluctuating day to day administrative tasks. She is actively involved in all employee matters and plays a central role on Coliseum’s safety committee. Kate firmly believes in the importance of relationships and facilitates communication and information between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, co-workers, customers, employees, and insurance companies. When she is not at the office, Kate can be found at a concert or cheering on the Philadelphia Flyers.
Jason has been in the architectural design and construction industry for the past ten years. Jason has been a part of the Coliseum Construction team for last five years and has grown right alongside with the company. Jason’s diversity has allowed him to be involved in all facets of our company from administrative, design, estimating and project management. He is a member of our safety committee and participates in volunteer activities with Coliseum. Jason received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Temple University, he is LEED certified and is currently taking his Architectural Registration Exams.
Rob Guest joined Coliseum Construction in February of 2013 as the Senior Estimator and Project Manager helping to establish and develop the Commercial Construction division. He aimed to create a full service commercial finish subcontracting firm to service the Commercial Construction Industry in our area. With over 40 years’ experience in Commercial Construction, he offers extensive experience and expertise to service the needs of all of our customers.
Heather McDevitt Sculli joined the Coliseum Construction Team in January 2014. Her background is in accounting and computer science with 13 Years’ experience as Bookkeeper & Office Manager for a regional furniture store chain. As Bookkeeper for the company, she is responsible for vendor payments and customer invoicing. She also works with the project managers in managing the company’s payroll, and assists the Office Manager/HR Director with general office responsibilities. In her spare time she enjoys everything Disney, especially trips around World show case in Epcot.
Paul Grudza joined Coliseum in May 2013 as the field superintendent. With 28 combined years in both the residential and commercial construction industry, Paul brought a vast array of knowledge and experience to the team. Paul has had extensive training, is certified in OSHA 30, all terrain fork lift, and fall protection and is directly involved with all field operations, general contractors, and office personnel.

Coliseum Construction has an active safety committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide an avenue for all employees to contribute to workplace safety in hopes of achieving and maintaining a safe, healthful working environment. The committee is also responsible for identifying hazards and unsafe work practices, discussing incident prevention, and helping the company evaluate the accident and illness prevention policies.
